We are proud to offer the Lucile T Heaver Nursing Education Fund, a funding opportunity designed to help graduates pursue additional education, training, or certification to further their careers and achieve their personal goals.

Award
$2500 per semester for a maximum of five semesters

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
  • Be a graduate of Mercy College of Ohio’s Youngstown campus, or a Mercy College of Ohio graduate currently residing in one of the following counties: Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Stark, or Portage (Ohio), or Mercer, Lawrence, or Beaver (Pennsylvania).
  • Be a newly accepted student for an online program starting in 2026 or later.
  • Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester.
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 throughout program duration.

To be considered for the scholarship:

  2. Submit official transcripts and two forms of identification. Submit official transcripts and documentation to admissions@mercycollege.edu
Please note that scholarship awards are limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Students must be accepted to Mercy College to be awarded the scholarship.
